"Istaria" developer files for bankruptcy

Artifact Entertainment, developers of the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) Horizons: Empire of Istaria has announced it is filing for bankruptcy. In a press release, the privately held company said "This action was primarily due to an inability to reach a mutually satisfactory agreement with a key vendor." The company claims to have tens of thousands of subscribers. The game will not be affected by the bankruptcy filing, the company says.
