News: Microsoft lays off 76, cuts Xbox production

The Seattle Times has reported that Microsoft is closing its sports-game development division. Executives quoted in the article said that Microsoft no longer needed to be developing these types of games, now that a critical mass of 3rd-party sports game developers has been created.
