News: Stuck in the 3D gaming world?
Wired News reports that immersive videogame experiences can be tough to withdraw from, at least for some people. Games like Katamari Damacy, Quake, Sims Online, and other titles are not only difficult to turn off, but can leave lingering impulses to play even after users are back in the real world. Wired does not cite cases of people acting upon videogame-driven impulses to kill or run over something, but the article suggests that some manufacturers may want to consider warning customers about the danger of confusing gaming environments with reality.
