Grand Theft Auto IV machinima may cause Take Two's hype machine to stumble

I've been writing and speaking about Machinima for several years, and over on TheStandard.com I've just written a short piece ("Sex machinima adds to GTA IV hype and controversy") about how a simple machinima using the GTA IV engine may derail the Take Two hype machine. Here's the problem: The machinima depicts raunchy strip-club sex and drive-by shootings of innocent people. The machinima in question was not created by Take Two, but no matter: It's been noticed by a well-known anti-gaming activist who is now using it as part of a two-pronged legal and press offensive.
